If you are planning on buying property in France, but are still deciding whereabouts you’d like to live, the proximity of an international airport is bound to be an important factor. Not only might you want to travel between both countries, but so will your friends and family, and if you are planning on creating a gite, or setting up holiday rentals, your guests will prefer easy access by air.

Fortunately, France has excellent air connections with the UK, with major airports in most French cities, and many smaller airports being serviced by budget airlines.

This is an overview of the France’s airports, the airlines which serve them, and the UK cities they fly to.

Paris

If you are thinking of buying in Paris, there are two major airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle in Roissy-en-France, in the north-east, and Paris Orly in the south.
