Even closer to hand is the Trieux estuary and the pretty riverside village of Lézardrieux just 14km (9 miles away) and the 15th-century Gothic Château de la Roche-Jagu with its gardens and view down towards the river is less than 6km (3.5 miles) away.

Pontrieux offers many of the facilities and amenities necessary for day-to-day living and further amenities and a high-speed TGV train service to Paris and beyond can be found in the large town of Guingamp which is 17km (11 miles) away.
