This little terraced cottage is very hard to photograph as the old owner has a rather unattractive tin hangar thing over the front of the courtyard, (so that’s the first job!). Once down, the courtyard could be made pretty with some new paving and some pots and will make the idea place to sit out and enjoy the sun or eat ‘al fresco’. The cottage is in a little hamlet at the end of a no through road, and is about 5 minutes in either direction to the towns of Montmorillon and Lussac-les-Chateaux, both of which have plenty of shops and restaurants.The cottage is all laid out on one floor and consists of a fitted kitchen diner (20m2) with oven, hob and hood, a bedroom (14m2), a shower room (7m2) with shower, basin and toilet, and a store room (6m2) that can be accesses through an outside door as well as from the inside of the cottage. All the rooms, apart from the store room, have tiled floors. To the front of the property is the aforementioned courtyard that is around 20 square metres and that, as I said, could be made very nice, but honestly at the moment is a bit of a concrete slab! This is a great little cottage in a very peaceful location – all completely ready to go so you could start enjoying this little corner of France straight away.
