Almost midway twixt Cognac and Angouleme lies Merignac.A
peaceful historic village with all the useful services.
A butcher,baker,Co-op and all within a 2 minute walk.

6 Minutes in the car and you can be in Jarnac. A Charente
riverside town with Intermarche, Lydel, Bricomarche and

Well served by the airports of Angouleme (25mins) La Rochelle (75 mins) and Bordeaux (75 Mins)so you never feel stranded.
There is also a TGV service from Angouleme to Paris and on
to Waterloo via the tunnel.
