With 3 large ski resorts within 20 minutes (Peyregudes, St Lary, Val Louron) and another 3 within 40min (la Mongie, Piau Engaley, Super Bagneres) it is the ideal base for winter sports. With outstanding walking, cycling (the tour de France passes through the valley most years), horse riding, dog sledding, fishing and many other things it is a great location for active all year round living or holidays.
