This house is so light and airy it sparkles in the sunshine and gives off a really welcoming feeling. On the edge of the small village of Tilly, with a shop/bakers but only minutes from Lussac les Eglises or Chaillac with several restaurants, bars and shops, you are in the country but near to all amenities. Limoges airport is less than an hour away and the A20 motorway about 15 minutes drive, so getting here will be no problem.
The property is gated and is entered through a spacious hallway (14m²) with a wooden spiral staircase to the first floor. Off this is a small but well fitted kitchen (10m²) with doors into a large living room (49m²) which has three sets of double doors into the garden, a large wood burning fireplace and a tiled floor. On the other side of the entrance hall is a hallway with cupboards, leading to two light bedrooms of 10m² and 14m2, one having French doors to the front. Also on this side of the house are steps down to a utility room/summer kitchen with a door to the garden and a spacious bathroom (9m²).
On the first floor are three more double bedrooms of 15m², 17m² and 25m² off a spacious landing. One of these rooms has a door onto a small balcony overlooking the garden. Also on this floor is a shower room with toilet and hand basin (6m²).
The house is built over a large, two car garage and workshop, which on the hot day I was there, remained very cool. There are several external doors leading to the spacious terrace and lovely, lawned gardens (2,500m²) which are dotted with fruit trees and also have a wood store and child’s play house/cabin. Built and well maintained by the current owners, there is little to do to this property apart from a little redecorating if wanted. Otherwise just unpack, sit in the beautiful garden and relax!
