Deux-Sevres Department

Deux-Sèvres is the northern most department of the Poitou Charente on the west side of France. Deux-Sèvres literally means "two Sèvres": the Sèvre Nantaise and the Sèvre Niortaise are two rivers which have their sources in the département.

The Futuroscope theme park near Poitiers offers visitors a glimpse into future technology and media. Deux-Sevres is an area of woodland & small fields enclosed by hedges and trees. The Poitevin marshes to the West are a stretch of fens and marshes. A pleasant attraction with trips along the waterways.
