Visit France's top flower show
One of the main things that attracts the Brits to France is its stunning countryside which brings with it a colourful range of flowers to be admired by all.
And one of the best places to catch a glimpse of the pure variety of flora is France's equivalent of the Chelsea Flower Show, the Festival International des Jardins.
More than 150,000 people head to the chateau at Chaumont sur Loire in Centre for the festival which sees displays of some of the most beautiful flowers in the country.
Green fingered French head to Centre There are 30 show gardens for visitors to get hints and tips from or just admire for their beauty and presentation.
This year the theme is Gardens for a World on the Move and those who attend the event will have more than just the plants to look at with shopping, restaurants and craft shops also on offer.
Monet's Giverny gardens Green fingered holidaymakers visiting their country house in France this summer would also do well to take a trip to the stunning Monet Gardens at Giverny in Normandy.
The gardens are said to be at their best during spring and summer and are famous for their stunning array of colours which reflect the works of the impressionist painter.
