French tourism is expected to see a big boost this summer with Disneyland Paris celebrating its 15th anniversary.

The huge party began on April 1st and the rest of the year looks set to entertain adults and children alike, with the opening of two new thrill seeking rides on top of a host of entertainment.

Families who have bought property in France or are considering purchasing a holiday home would do well join in the fun which will include the new Once Upon a Dream Parade which has been specially put together as part of the event.

French hotels with special prices

A number of hotels in France are expected to be promoting special offers for the rest of the year and those in the industry are recommending that families book early to avoid disappointment.

Andrew Pumphrey, head of marketing at hotel firm LateRooms, said that the 15th anniversary of Europe's biggest theme park is "a great opportunity for families to enjoy the attractions and rides at EuroDisney and also discover the family friendly side of Paris".

French tourism still booming

The celebrations looks set to do wonders for French tourism which in itself bodes well for investors in the country.

Those thinking of buying a holiday home would do well to do so soon as the influx of visitors to Paris and the surrounding areas are all expected to want places to stay.

The outskirts of the French capital are an idea spot to buy French property as it is so close to the city's many family attractions including the Jardin d'Acclimatation, which includes a zoo, fairground, theme park rides and puppet theatres.
