Those who enjoy being active while on vacation will especially enjoy exploring the coast on bicycle. Two great starting and ending points are Soulac-sur-Mer and Arcachon. They are at opposite ends of the Côte d'Argent, which is basically long stretches of sandy beaches that are nearly deserted. Exploring this area on a bike is fun and enjoyable.

Tourists can even check out the view of the Losse castle by driving along the Vezere river.
