Provence property for sale
Each year Brits flock to buy Provence property for sale because the location offers so much in terms of food, weather and activities.
The south of France has always been a popular holiday destination and now more and more people are buying homes in the area which they stay in for much of the summer and rent out during the rest of the year.
Beautiful towns and villagesProvence is packed with beautiful towns and villages and the house hunter will have plenty to keep him or her occupied when looking for French property for sale.
But one town which investors may want to consider is lovely Toulon, which has entertainment to suit the whole family and houses the largest opera house after Paris.
Skating at Toulon One of the most exciting activities it has on offer is the Friday night skate, where inline skaters of all ages, but mainly intermediate ability, join forces and take over the town.
Up to 1,200 people join in the event which kicks off at la place de la Liberte in the centre before making its way through Toulon's streets and suburbs.
In all, the skaters cover a 15km circuit taking in everything from the Old Town to the port.
Spectators usually have as much fun as participants but for those who plan to get themselves fully involved in the action, protective clothing is a must.
