Opting for new developments in France
Anyone who is thinking of moving abroad is advised to consider opting for a property in one of a number of new developments in France.
Although for some people, the whole idea of moving to France is to renovate an old chateau or farmhouse, for others, this sounds like far too much work.
And for those people, it may be best to purchase a home in a new development which are often easier to maintain and can keep costs lower.
Advantages of new builds One obvious benefit of a newly built French property is that you can move in straight away rather than having to go back and forth to the UK waiting for renovations to be completed or an off plan property to be built.
It is also, in some ways, less complicated to buy a flat in a new French development and usually has a very high chance of being rented out easily or sold on.
Finally, new builds are much cheaper to maintain as they are unlikely to have problems with water leaks or structural damage as some older buildings tend to.
Newly built property offers options Properties in new developments are not necessarily positioned in blocks of flats or resorts but can be found in all different parts of the country and come in all shapes and sizes.
Savvy investors may wish to consider buying a newly built alpine chalet or even opt for a sunny villa in Provence.

Customer Review: I bought this road atlas as a back up to a well known satnav sounding like a drum! When the satnav let me down halfway through a 600km drive through rural France the atlas proved to be worth its weight in gold. About 35% cheaper than buying it in Fra...
