Ferry will link Sussex with Upper Normandy
People living in and around Sussex look set to find it that little bit easier to head to France after the announcement that a new ferry link has been set up on the continent.
From May 1st, those hoping to move to France or already living in the country will be able to hop backwards and forwards easily to see relatives.
The new link will connect Newhaven in the UK with Le Havre in Upper Normandy and will operate until the end of September.
Spokesman for Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, which runs the ferries, Claude Sokolski said: "We will introduce the service for the summer and see how many people use it.
"In the south-east there are people with homes in Brittany, Normandy and surrounding areas who will take advantage of the crossing."
