Brits could gain from buy to let property for sale in Var

People who are considering buying Var property for sale and then renting it out to tourists will be buoyed by the news that last year over 78 million foreign tourists visited the country.

As well as British and American people enjoying holidaying in the south of France, the country has also seen an increase in the number of tourists visiting from the Middle East.

This bodes will for anyone considering investing in France and getting a buy to let mortgage as thousands of visitors will be on the look out for short term accommodation.

France promotes activity tourism

According to Travel and Tourism News Middle East, France is "heavily promoting activity tourism in the country", adding that there has been a rise in the number of wellbeing breaks, golfing holidays and vineyard tours on offer in the last few years.

These attractions are all likely to encourage more people to head to the south of France, with investors being urged to consider buying Var property for sale to house them.

Repeat visitors head to France

French tourism expert Pascal J Lepetre said: "A major chunk of our tourists are repeat visitors who have already done the 'sightseeing holiday' and are now returning to enjoy the specialised activities France has to offer."
