Activities in Porte de Versailles
Moving to France with the whole family can be a stressful time and if you feel the need to entertain the kids and give yourself a break, a trip to Porte de Versailles, Paris, in the summer comes highly recommended.
There is plenty to occupy youngsters, with the first week of June being the ideal time to go when a three day event designed especially for children is held.
Entertaining children in France Known as Kidexpo, the event sees hundreds of young people head into the area to enjoy the fun and games on offer, while there is also plenty to keep the parents entertained.
Among the activities are watersports, rollerblading and beach volleyball, while the less sporty kids can enjoy music and workshops.
Although the event is designed for fun, organisers ensure that there is also an educational element to Kidexpo, where youngsters can learn about healthy living and problem solving.
Summer fun for all the family Mums and dads are also welcome to join in the activities with Le Forum des Parents, where adults can debate issues involving children and meet other parents in France.
Younger siblings can be left in the creche and the tickets allow entry in and out of the event at any time.
