Ariège is the only region in France where any nuclear plants are far enough. Although the house is in the plain, mountains of Pyrenees are very near for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, horse riding etcc Grand, beautiful lake with an artificial sand beach for swimming is not far in the natural surrounding.
Very agreeable region to live. Hot in summer but always cool sneeze coming down from the mountains. Off season is just nice, beautiful spring and autumn last for long time. Winter, could be cold but mostly mild, nice to have tables for launch in sunny winter days. Many sunny days but it rains quite a lot too for the forests of deep green mountains.
